Review: Russian Winter

Russian Winter
Russian Winter by Daphne Kalotay

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Russian Winter tells the story of a young a girl who becomes a prima ballerina in Russia during Stalin's reign. It also tells the story of Drew, a young woman seeking to begin her life anew after a divorce and a college professor searching both for his past and his future. The author weaves the stories of these characters together through a jewelry auction and the sale of a bracelet, earrings, and necklace made of Baltic Amber. It was a fascinating and truly captivating book.
